Reiki means Universal Life Energy. It was discovered and developed in Japan by Master Mikao Usui (1865 -1826). The Father of Reiki, Master Usui taught a unique method of connecting with this field of healing energy using meditation and sacred symbols.
Reiki energy has the power to soothe away stress, calm fear, and promote natural healing from a distance.
The Let Animals Lead ® method is grounded in the awareness that each animal is a sentient being with the capacity to receive or let go when Reiki is shared.
Animals are especially responsive but it is their choice to receive Reiki…or not.
Laurie’s Reiki was invaluable with my dog Lovey. She is part Lab and part Border Collie and her naturally exuberant behavior was challenging as a puppy. Doing reiki sessions with Laurie really calmed her down, and helped me get her trained. And when she goes through periods of not getting enough exercise or attention when I am really busy, reiki gets both of us back on track.
