“I was at my wit’s end, with a 25 year old horse with major injuries. He had a right rear leg suspensory ligament injury that my vet described as ‘multiple holes like Swiss cheese’ and a torn ligament on his left hind leg. Several people told me he would probably have to be put down.

“God intervened and put Laurie Nadel in my life. She offered to come out to the barn and do a Reiki treatment on Topper. When she got there and put her hands up, Topper came up to her and put his face into her hands. This told me more than I can ever explain. At the beginning of the treatment, both hind legs had heat in them, and the right leg was swollen. At the end of the treatment, the left leg was cold and the swelling in the right leg had visibly decreased, as did the heat.

ABOUT DR. LAURIE

A Reiki Master since 2002, Dr. Laurie focuses on helping animals and their humans with the Let Animals Lead® method of Reiki.

Her extensive education in this field includes energy healing for animals, animal Reiki, and shamanic healing for animals preparing to cross over. A shaman is a healer who journeys into other realms of consciousness to obtain information for healing at the soul level. Dr. Laurie spent ten years studying with shamans in the southern hemisphere. She is available to assist you.

As an animal Reiki volunteer she has worked at various rescue shelters, including Long Beach (NY) Animal Shelter, Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons, and the C.A.R.E. Foundation in Apopka, FL.

An End of Life Doula for Companion Animals, Dr. Laurie is a member of the National End of Life Doula Alliance and Spiritual Directors International. As an End of Life Doula, she can help you and your animal family get ready to say goodbye. Dr. Laurie is available to work with your veterinarian to help ease the pain of your animal’s final journey. Dr. Laurie can offer emotional and soul-centered support to you and your animal family.
